Antastha Yatra is a 10 day Yoga process, which presents a unique opportunity to undertake your deepest journey into Yoga and yourself. The program name comes from the Sanskrit ‘Antastha’ meaning ‘deepest, within, core or innermost’ and ‘Yatra’, which refers to ‘a journey’. During the retreat, you will be invited to go on a quest into your own core or deepest self, exploring with gentle inquiry the untouched potential you have deep inside.

Antastha Yatra is purposefully a 10 day Yoga retreat to allow the time for this intensive exploration and unfurling. The journey can be challenging, especially in the early stages, as you work through the more superficial layers of your being, but it does not take too long before the right techniques and support from our expert teachers smoothly guide you to your deepest essence, your own light.

To gain the most from its offering, we encourage you to enter Antastha Yatra with a mentality of total surrender and with the intention to create a fuller life. Our approach is not only to recover our own self, but to prepare, rejuvenate and cultivate life.

Step #1 - Gain Clarity

We use Svadhyaha, the yogic discipline of self-study, combined with modern techniques to become aware of the current reality, our belief systems and patterns. Profound understanding and clarity about our own lives is what naturally follows.

Step #2 - Understand Yoga

We explore, in a transparent way, how Yoga can improve our lives. We consider the different aspects of Yoga, and how each are applicable to our emotions, behavior, circumstances and health. Basically we create a real understanding how Yoga works.

Step #3 - Integrated Learning

We choose the most effective, applicable Yoga techniques to create a difference in your life. We teach you how to implement and integrate these, both on and off your Yoga mat. These tools will allow you, in time, to profoundly change your relationship with yourself and move towards happiness.

Working through the journey, we guide you with a carefully designed program of lectures, practices and processes. We recognize that you are already whole, and are already at a unique and special place in your life. You will bring with you the benefit of some obvious prior learnings and some more subtle influences which may not yet be visible. Our role is to help you to embrace all of this as you will simply move deeper. That means that elements of the process may seem effortless, and almost unnoticeable until you start to experience the difference in your overall well-being.

The process draws on carefully selected, powerful elements of the vast field of yogic learning. This will include Svadhyaya (self-study), Antastha Kriya and Patanjali’s concepts. We will also integrate potent Hatha Yoga techniques such as Yoga Nidra, Antar Mouna, Tratka, Pranayama and Shoonya meditation. The experience will be integrated, thorough and deep.

  • Whether you are a beginner, a yogi with many years of experience or you have never done Yoga before.
  • Whether you are in a burn-out, stressed or recovering from an illness.
  • Whether you are looking for direction and purpose. Whether the joy is lost in your life or you are simply in search of a deeper meaning…

The journey of Antastha Yatra will allow you to tap into the bliss that lies within yourself. It will help you create the strength that is already so close to you, once your eyes are open to it, once you wash away the distractions. This process is a water that will cleanse mind, body and spirit.

We look forward to set forth on this journey with you.
